Ripping Shiraz from the Barossa & McLaren Vale
Here's 4 quite different expressions of Barossa and McLaren Vale Shiraz along with a stunning $150 a bottle, 97 pointer made by Dave Powell. Well oaked, black and punchy Shiraz from 3 Rings Barossa, gives way to the fruit driven, old vine, 96 pointer from Curtis McLaren Vale. Sieger's well oaked, rich, old school Barossa then nudges up against Lone Palm's intensely fruited but spicy and moderately oaked Hillside Barossa Shiraz. You'll get 3 bottles of each of these, plus a single bottle of the exceptional Neldner Road 'The Silesian' Shiraz, which is ethereally perfumed, with long and persistent black fruits and a hint of spice. Please double decant the Neldner Road, it's good on opening, incredible with air.

Intense, old vine Barossa fruit from the incredible 2021 vintage meets French oak and they fall in love. Super concentrated with coffee, chocolate, plums and black fruits. Richness and depth. Alive and lively, yet plush and persistent. Complex balanced and long.
Another delicious release of Hillside Shiraz from low yielding vineyards in Marananga, old vines from Stonewell, planted to the R6 and 1654 clones. There’s old vine fruit from Greenock, the vines so old that the clonal selection is unknown. Matured in a combination of new French and older American oak, this is a stunning Barossa Shiraz offering black fruits, blue fruits, blackberries, coffee, graphite, chocolate, minerals, liquorice, spice, blueberries, cedar and firm tannins.
