Ripper Rieslings
Three superb Rieslings — just $20 a bottle.
From Two Sisters, their stunning Eden Riesling. This picked up an Elite Gold medal at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge, backing that up with a 95 point score from Kim Brebach. It offers pristine Riesling aromatics and flavours which are generous and long.
From Kilikanoon, a 95-point classic — bursting with lemons and limes, underpinned by minerality and brilliant intensity. This is a wine that drinks beautifully now but will reward a decade or more in the cellar.
Finally, Jeanneret Big Fine Girl Riesling, from Ben Jeanneret, who often crafts up to five different Rieslings each vintage. Texture, character and sheer fruit intensity according to wine scribe Campbell Mattinson. Lots of lime and lemons, a touch of salinity and other complexities too. Very easy drinking.
Three outstanding takes on Riesling, all yours at a price that makes stocking up a very easy decision.

A glorious Riesling from the 2022 vintage, widely considered the equal of the great 2020 and 2021 vintages. Stephen Pannel commented that, “2022 (Clare) Rieslings are particularly strong, the stylish nature of these wines and the purity of their varietal character show the strength of the beautiful Clare Valley as a Riesling stronghold." So here's the Kilikanoon Meyman's, more linear and higher in acid than the 2021 but still built around lemons and limes, offering minerality and brilliant length and intensity. Can be cellared for a decade or more.
An exceptional Riesling, thoroughly deserving of the Elite Gold Medal it received at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge. Florals, lemons and limes here, with just a hint of brown lime too. Wonderful texture and length with superb depth of flavour!
A Riesling of texture, character and sheer fruit intensity according to wine scribe Campbell Mattinson. Lots of lime here, a touch of salinity and other complexities too. More plumpness and texture here than you'll normally find in a Clare Rizza - making this very easy to drink.
