The winemaker for Mount Kitchener, Trent Burge is the son of Grant Burge. He was pretty keen to step away from the shadow of his old man and make his own booze. He's doing a cracking job under both the Mount Kitchener and the Barossa Boy labels. He’s got six generations of winemaking to draw on as well as relationships with the best growers that come with that heritage. Much of the wine that he produces comes from old vines. His wines are excellent.
