Special Price $60.00 Regular Price $65.00

This is the seventh release of their flagship ‘Hills Shiraz and as usual you’re hit immediately with a waft of black and blue fruits and the trademark white pepper that announces this wine as a “hills monster". The palate is full bodied and it’s here you see even more layers of complexity and intrigue, no doubt due to the co-fermentation of 5 different clones scattered throughout this unique vineyard. Phil Manser has a long history in the wine industry championing boutique labels from all over Australia and the world. He has teamed up with his brother Kevin and father Bernie and now own and operate a vineyard near Kuitpo just a stone’s throw from McLaren Vale. This vineyard was first established by Tim James, formerly of Hardys and Wirra Wirra, and was planted to four different clones of Shiraz planted randomly throughout the vineyard. A time honoured practice from the old world designed to guarantee consistency and complexity from year to year. Fruit from this vineyard has made its way to numerous award-winning wines from several top tier producers.
