Lone Palm Vineyard is located south of Marananga, the heart of Barossa Valley. A vineyard of many different sites and microclimates and a lone palm tree standing next to the settlers cottage built in the late 1800s from where the name originates. Opulent sunshine, rich soil, hand picked and traditional winemaking to produce dark, fruity, full-bodied premium Shiraz, exceptional Grenache and plenty more besides.
This week we sipped on not one, not two but three bottles of Mr Riggs Montepulciano wine. Mr Riggs is a James Halliday 5 star rated winery which is a pretty amazing achievement in itself. You know when you crack open any wine from these guys we are talking about a glass of seriously good wine and this one didn't disappoint either!
