Lone Palm Vineyard is situated at the Southern end of the Hamlet of Marananga on the Western ridge of the Barossa Valley. The vineyard gets its name from a single old palm tree next to the original cottage built in the late 1800s, the same palm trees that line Seppeltsfield Rd and can be seen from the tasting room at the winery. All the wines are made low-fi, aiming for a “house style” of generous flavour, with juicy texture and complexity. All are picked in the cool of the morning each vintage, open-fermented slowly and then gently basket pressed.
