Lienert Vineyards Roussanne 2021
Special Price $26.00 Regular Price $30.00
The Lienert Roussanne is a beautifully textural wine offering a complex mix of stonefruits, nuttiness, green tea, creaminess and a whisp of tannin to finish. The wine has spent time in old oak, being regularly less stirred to build texture. It is a cracking wine.

The Lienert’s have been farming their patch of dirt in the Western Ridge of the Barossa since 1854. Only the last 21 years have seen them growing vines. They have done pretty well though, with the first two vintages of Shiraz (2004 and 2005) finding their way into Penfold’s St Henri. They promptly planted a heap more vines and these days keep the best parcels of fruit for themselves, with multiple clones of Shiraz and Grenache, along with Mataro and Roussanne all in the ground.
