This is a punchy, richly fruited fizzy Shiraz, with a bit of oak and liqueur to give it creaminess and balance. Raspberries and cholocate lead the charge, well supported by other berry fruit flavours. Served chilled as a perfect match with duck terrine, chicken liver pâte and venison dishes.

Bright fresh vibrant raspberry fruit aromas. This is a beautifully balanced, creamy sparkling red wine showing lively raspberry and cherry flavours and finishes with a soft and cleansing acidity. Serve chilled in a chilled glass on its own, with canapés or poultry. A fine accompaniment to earthy flavours, such as beetroot. The Leconfield Coonawarra estate was established in 1974 by one of Australia’s most talented winemakers, Sydney Hamilton. Over the years the Leconfield Riesling has taken its place amongst the best examples in Australia. Our 32-year-old Riesling vines comprise some of the original planting’s on the estate, mature vines which produce a crop of intensely flavoured fruit with wonderful varietal character every year. World-renowned, this 15km stretch of red soil is so unique, it's worth looking it up on google maps and switching to satellite view to see how it is farmed. See that stri ... Read Full Article

That's it, and notice the big spread of nothing around it? The Coonawarra is a very special place. Laying on an old ridge of limestone, the fields have superb drainage, allowing the vines to flourish without the dampness at night that can ruin a good crop. Very similar in climate to the Bordeaux region in
