Jericho Tempranillo 2017

Juicy bright strawberries hit the front of the palate of this Adelaide Hills Temp. Translucent and beckoning, its softness meets a Chuck Norris savoury finish, just what it calls for. Jericho suggest cellaring 3-4 years only to keep the fruit flavours fleshy and vibrant. We don’t think it’ll last the week! Perfect for pizza, tapas or a BBQ.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Jericho wines is a true family affair. Father and son, Neil and Andrew have over 50 years winemaking experience between them while second son, Kim is responsible for graphic design. Mum Kaye and daughter Sally support the business and administration. At one point, the entire family spent two months in Portugal while Neil worked vintage. Jericho collect fruit from both McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills where they produce Shiraz, GSM, Fiano, Fume Blanc, Tempranillo & Syrah. Jericho have been on the rise in the local boutique wine scene and we’re glad to see them spread they wings.
