Howard Vineyard Adelaide Hills Pinot Chardonnay 2022
Super expressive strawberries, raspberries and cherry morph into citrus and stonefruit. The palate is creamy, the bead fine. To summarise, ‘Yum’! The Pinot Noir components comprise the superb and low yielding Burgundian clones of 777, 114 and 115. Both the Pinot and Chardy are planted at 470m above sea level.
Howard own a couple of excellent vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, making small quantities of cracking good wines under their own label and selling a considerable amount of fruit to two of the very best Adelaide Hills producers. The vineyard site is exceptional – Howard don’t need to acid adjust any of the fruit during vinification – an absolute rarity in Australia.
