Haselgrove 'Protector' Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Special Price $30.00 Regular Price $40.00
A beautifully balanced and fruit precise Cab that is fabulous from the get go and even better 24 hours after opening. Delicious varietal fruit is “protected” by robust, waxy and plentiful tannins. Double decant it an hour before drinking and you might find mocha, spice, chocolate, violet, plums and other loveliness to boot.

Haselgrove have been around in various guises for more than 30 years, really hitting their straps in the last few. The quality of the wines and packaging has improved substantially. James Halliday listed them as one of his “Ten Dark Horses” in 2015. They are making cracking good booze and their offerings are likely to continue to improve.
