Grant Burge GB19 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2016

This classic little ditty is made up of 92% Semillon and 8% Sauvignon Blanc, there’s lemon and tropical fruit flavours backed by a generous body thanks to maturing on lees. The wine is excellently structured and finishes crisp with an excellent acid backbone.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Grant Burge began brewing arcane bevvies about 30 years ago under his own label. Prior to that he had been a big cheese winemaker with another major Aussie Wine producer. On launching his own label he immediately set about producing a top end Shiraz to rival the best in Australia, the ‘Meshach’. During the journey Grant has been awarded every major prize the industry has to offer, the Jimmy Watson, Montgomery and Stodart Trophies just to name a few.
