Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Leconfield Shiraz has just been rated 94pts by James Halliday and is a smooth, full bodied Shiraz with pepper, plum and fine grained tannin. Curtis Family Vineyards have just released their $70 Cavaliere Cabernet, chock full of chocolate, cedary oak and fine tannins. It needs a solid hour in the decanter before serving. Next up, the 2010 Red Bike Barossa SGM which is even better than the 09 that sold out in a flash. Erin Eyes' offering is a powerful Clare Valley Cab with blue fruits, black olive, plum and dark chocolate. Monterra have picked up a Gold and Trophy for their 16 Shiraz already - there are very bright blue and red fruits here along with plums on what is a lush and inviting nose. There's richness on the palate, depth of flavour and spice too. Length is excellent. Plush as a plush toy but tastes much better.
