Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Turkey Flat Shiraz is praised both near and far for its beautifully rich and intense Shiraz produced from old vines. This vintage was low yielding and shows concentrated fruit flavours from black to red, with spice, anise and plum. Drink one now, put one away. The Lioness from Dandelion is drinking superbly now. It’s a complex beast of dark fruits and spice and a whopping 7 gold medals too. Pop it through the aerator for best results. Monterra’s Barossa Shiraz is on the lighter side, still with stunning bright fruit intensity of the black and red variety, folded into plums and dark chocolate with plenty of depth of flavour on the palate. The Centurion from Richard Hamilton is also something to revere, with its rich and concentrated fruit and new French oak. Dandelion’s Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet caught our attention when it crossed the tasting bench earlier this month. Dark chocolate and violets come to mind, spread over a leafy green streak. Kilikanoon Meymans Shiraz Cab blend from the Clare Valley is big, bold but delicious with black and blue berry fruit, nuts and chocolate wrapped in a silken texture. If you’re feeling fancy, this is just what the doctor ordered. Drink some now, throw some under the guest bed for later.
