    13 Bottles for 13 Bucks Apiece v5.0
    Regular Price $571.00 $169.00
Previous editions of '13 Bottles for 13 Bucks Apiece' have performed brilliantly, selling heaps, with a really high percentage of repeat orders. Fair call too, as they contained genuinely excellent wines at quaffing prices. It's taken us a while, but we reckon we've upped the ante here, increasing the quality while retaining the original price point. This time you'll get three each of a delightful McLaren Cab blend, the magnificent $75-a-bottle Angas King Reserve Shiraz, Red Deer's 95-point old vine Shiraz, and a lovely organic Shiraz. The 13th bottle? Curtis' old vine, 96-point, $100-a-bottle Small Batch Shiraz. Phwoar! Learn More

  9. A Sauvvy of Sauv Blanc v2.0
    6 pack - $20.00/bottle
    14% Off RRP
A Sauvvy of Sauv Blanc v2.0
    Regular Price $139.00 $120.00

Sometimes only a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc will do. So here are six exceptional examples for you to have a crack at, from WA, Coonawarra and the Adelaide Hills.

Picardy’s Sauv Blanc Sem (85% SB) is superb and age-worthy. Three distinct clones of Sauv Blanc are used along with two different yeast strains. On opening it seems soft and delicate, but as it airs, minerality, guava, lime, passionfruit and all manner of complexities emerge. Deep Wood's trophy-winning Margaret River SSB is also a cracker, as persistent as it is aromatic and laden with citrus and tropicals. The Chain of Ponds SB is crisp and offers a lovely mix of greenery and passionfruit.

The Riposte, made by the legendary Tim and Nick Knappstein, is textural, succulent and pungent; a joy to drink. Howard are major growers in the Adelaide Hills and supply substantial quantities of fruit to what are arguably the two best known producers of SB in the region. This, their own bottling, is of course excellent too. Finally, the Cape Jaffa SB is also lovely with tropical fruits, citrus and more at play.

  11. A Temptation of Tempranillo
    6 pack - $25.00/bottle
    30% Off RRP
    A Temptation of Tempranillo
    Regular Price $215.00 $150.00
Tempranillo is one of our favourite things here at winedirect.com.au. Here's 3 rippers which you'll be getting 2 bottles apiece of. From one of the Rioja's oldest producers, the Carlos Serres Crianza 2020 which sees high quality Tempranillo spend a year in oak and a year in bottle prior to release. This is a particularly good example, packed with red fruits, cherries, spice, oak and nervy acidity. Bleasdale 2022 - a trophy winner at the Adelaide Show with wonderful red fruits and subtle oak influence. Red cherries, chocolate, supportive acidity and fine tannins. Good at room temp, and also worth giving a 20 min spell in the fridge. Colab and Bloom 2021 - a Gold medal winner from a highly regarded vineyard in Maacclesfield (Adelaide Hills). Medium bodied, with plenty of red fruits, violet, cherry, cola and spice. Learn More
  12. A Trio of Cab from the Coonawarra, Barossa and McLaren Vale + a $250 bonus
    13 pack - $19.23/bottle
    73% Off RRP
A Trio of Cab from the Coonawarra, Barossa and McLaren Vale + a $250 bonus
    Regular Price $914.00 $250.00
20 bucks a bottle for a dozen superb Cabernets here. The Scepters, which are from the Coonawarra and Barossa respectively, are varietal and full-flavoured, showing a deft winemaking hand and concentrated fruit. Dowie Doole's flagship, the very limited Architect Cab, is a $90-a-bottle thriller from the stunning '21 vintage. Just settling into its bones, the quality and power of fruit is already in evidence. Decant or, better still, cellar for a bit - this is on the way to turning itself into something very special. The bonus? A bottle of Yaldara's $250-a-bottle Grand Cuvee Barossa Shiraz. It's big - as you'd expect - but the oak, while evident, is on a tight leash, allowing the glorious fruit to really shine. Definitely decant or pop it in the dungeon for five or 10 years. Learn More
