We only got 96 bottles sadly, but then only 500 were made so I guess we should consider ourselves lucky! From a tiny. 100 yo vineyard, cool ferment, foot stomped into old French oak for just over a year. Satsuma plum fruits with raspberry and Chinese 5 spice, licorice, ginger, and more.
The Curator Wine Co. vineyard in Marananga is planted on ancient red soils rich in ironstone and quartzite, and the wines are naturally fermented. They also source from young and old vine plantings in Greenock, Stonewell, Vine Vale and the Eden Valley.

This might seem like a strange one, but I can honestly say that this combo really works. Usually, when you think of burgers you lean towards a beer, or even a nice glass of red. The freshness of the apple, spice coming through from the tomato jam, and the addition of pork had me leaning towards a Riesling.
Pork is one of my favourite meats to eat – so versatile and great at anytime of the day too! This dish calls on my times travelling around Asia and having crazy good crispy skin pork, unbelievably flavourful dipping sauces and fresh & spicy salads.
Moroccan flavours are some of my favourite. Generally, in common with Italian, Indian and many other cuisines, the food choices depend on what's local, in season and cheap. Moroccan food for me has the perfect blend of exciting spices and aromas, fresh herbs and accompaniments and the permission to make food organically sweet.
