Powerful and expressive Barossa Shiraz from the famed Stonewell sub region which has spent a couple of years in a mix of mostly new and a bit of older French oak. Fruit was open fermented with wild yeast, basked pressed and bottled unfined. The supremely complex nose offers dark chocolate, spice and cedar in a sumptuous blue and black fruit compote setting. Tannins are fine and silky and intensity of fruit is outstanding.

The vineyard at Marananga is planted on ancient red soils rich in ironstone and quartzite, and the wines are naturally fermented. They also source from young and old vine plantings in Greenock, Stonewell, Vine Vale and the Eden Valley.
