Why We Chose This Wine

Lovely aromatics here with dried figs, raisins, and prunes coming from the high percentage of Grenache. These are bolstered by toffee, butterscotch, caramel, cloves and cinnamon. Sweet and rich with plenty of warming neutral spirit, there are flavours of chocolate, fruitcake, dried orange peel and walnuts,

Being a 'forty' this is good to drink immediately, It'll definitely hold in the bottle for a couple of years but once you've popped the cork we recommend drinking it within a month. It won't go off in a hurry but will become less fresh the longer it is opened.
