A family business for six generations, the Harvey clan have six vineyards spread across McLaren Vale going back to 1897. Chalk Hill has a lot of old vine super premium Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache in the ground but are also focused on new varieties well suited to the McLaren Vale’s Mediterranean climate, like Vermentino, Barbera and Sangiovese.
