This is a midweight yet rich varietal Cabernet. Cassis, plums, chocolate, spice and a little greenery all mingle here is a very drinkable fashion. The best bits of a top end tincture without as much tannin, meaning you get to be titilated by it now, rather than in 10 years. Enjoy over the next 5-8 years with something meaty.

Bleasdale have been making wine for over 160 years and have really hit their stride in the last 10 years or so, producing consistently exceptional kit. Bleasdale’s ‘father’ Frank Potts planted Shiraz and Verdelho vines in the 1850s and built most of the original winery and equipment himself. In 1961 they produced their first varietal red wine from Malbec and their first sparkling red in 1964.

With vines first planted in 1860's, it is predominately a producer of full-bodied reds.
