Bird in Hand was established in 1997 when viticulturist and winemaker Andrew Nugent left Tatachilla and planted the family vineyard at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills, near the historic goldmine of the same name. Along with another vineyard in the notable Clare region, the great fruit and skilled work of this producer come together in a stellar range of wines. Ably assisted by Master of Wine, Kym Milne as Winemaker, the Nugent’s produce consistently exceptional wines.
