Bird in Hand Sauvignon Blanc 2018

A classic mix of gooseberry along with passionfruit on the nose. Same again Sam on the palate which is passionfruity, layered with greenery, stonefruits and a little lemon curd.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Bird in Hand was established in 1997 when viticulturist and winemaker Andrew Nugent left Tatachilla and planted the family vineyard at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills, near the historic goldmine of the same name. Along with another vineyard in the notable Clare region, the great fruit and skilled work of this producer come together in a stellar range of wines. Ably assisted by Master of Wine, Kym Milne as Winemaker, the Nugent’s produce consistently exceptional wines.

Among the best savvies we’ve tasted from the Adelaide Hills

Bird in Hand Sauvignon Blanc 2018 – Among the best savvies we’ve tasted from the Adelaide Hills, covers the range of flavours from gooseberries to passionfruit with a few blades of grass and a squeeze of lemon. Crisp enough but still touched with that Hills softness. 94 points. BUY.
