Bethany Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Deliciously spicy and complex medium bodied Barossa Cabernet here. Lifted plum and other red fruit fragrances floating around too. Length of flavour is excellent. A good one to crack by itself and will work really well with food too. Drink any time over the next 10 years.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Bethany's fruit is produced by the fifth and sixth generation Schrapel family grape growers. Johann Schrapel first planted vines in 1852 and viticulture has been part of the Schrapel lineage ever since. 129 years later they built a winery and Bethany wines were born. They resisted the vinepull scheme that followed shortly in the mid 80's, choosing instead to preserve and respect their old vine stocks. The family owns 38 hectares of vines, all in the Barossa Valley.
