Battle of Bosworth Puritan Shiraz 2017

Organic grapes made into vino with no added preservatives. It is bright and darkly fruited with black fruits, plum and a squirt of red fruit too. There’s a hint of graphite as well. Texture is great and the tannins are plush and smooth. This will benefit from cellaring but is already incredibly engaging.

Allow us to prattle on a little more about this...

Max Allen in his book, The Future Makers; Australian Wines for the 21st Century, describes Joch as one of the ‘most important organic winemakers in Australia’. Joch made the call to convert to Organics over 20 years ago and was named McLaren Vale’s grape grower of the year at the annual McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism Association’s (MVGWTA) Wine Industry Awards in September 2008. The award recognises best practise viticultural management in McLaren Vale, as well as commitment to innovation, environmental sustainability and grape growing excellence.
