So much to love here and so many accolades to help highlight the quality - but at this price, it'll probs sell out pretty quickly...
The Kilikanoon Baudinet has scored 3 trophies, ditto the Evans & Tate Redbrook Shiraz (including the best wine of the Adelaide Show if you don't mind) The Lloyd Brothers Syrah is also a Trophy Winner.
This lot are already worth more than the asking price of the pack.
You'll also be scoring a couple of Curtis' old vine, 96 point McLaren Vale Shiraz, a couple of Turkey Flat's magical GSM and a couple of Griffin's Reserve Shiraz from the excellent 2021 vintage
Finally, a bottle of Yaldara's stunning, 96 point, $250 a bottle Shiraz.
The 2021 Yaldara Grand is a straight Shiraz, owing to the concentration and profundity of the Shiraz fruit from this vintage. Unsurprisingly, this offers more power and concentration than any previous vintage. A massive, deep and complex expression of the best bits of the Barossa Valley. Dark chocolate, liquorice, tobacco leaf, blue and black fruits, cedar, cassis, plums, cherries, spice and plenty of cedary oak and tannins. Incredible.
A beautifully soft, savoury and complex red. A medium-bodied palate with red and black fruits. Layers of spice, dark plum and blackberries with plenty of fine tannins and a slightly rustic edge from the very high quality Mataro used here to finish the blend off. A lovely ‘welcome home’ glass which goes very nicely with dinner too.
3 x Trophy, Gold Medal, 96 Wine Pilot, 95 James Halliday
Jeni Port nailed it when she said 'The palate wields fine tannins with impressive style, elevating the peppery aromatics, the punchy maraschino cherry notes, not to mention the discreet savouriness. The choc-vanillin oak is particularly nicely placed, intuitive almost, simply going harmoniously with the wine. We used to treat GSM as simply a nice everyday kind of wine. No more. 96 points.' Has also picked up 3 trophies and a heap of other accolades. A stunning wine.

96pts Sam Kim, 96pts Melbourne International Wine Competition, 95pts Kim Brebach, 94pts Ken Gargett, 3 Golds
A black, plush, and full-bodied Shiraz made from 80-year-old vines. Exceptional fruit intensity here, and weight of black fruits on the palate. Opulence is balanced by judicious acidity and there’re plenty of tannins driving through to an epic conclusion. Decant if you are going to enjoy now, otherwise cellar!
The best fruit from the Estate vineyard was handpicked and fermented as 90% whole bunches then treated to 9 months in older, large format French oak. It’s complex, offering mulberries, liquorice, olive, cassis, white pepper and plums before finishing with curlicues of cedary oak and a wave of fine tannins. A spectacular Shiraz.

Gold and Top Gold - Royal Adelaide Wine Show, Gold and Trophy - Royal Melbourne Wine Show, 93pts Wine Front
Dense in colour, this mid to full bodied Syrah reveals charm and nuance in its presentation of red and blue fruit aromatics, complexing a fruit intense palate offering mulberries, dark fruit goodness and pepper. Good levels of cedar and plenty of fine tannins too.
A later pick from one sub section of a single vineyard. Just a touch more concentration and ripeness on offer here than can be found in the non reserve version. Sweet fruit, savoury aspects, cedary oak and sandy tannins. Lovely.
