The Razorback Road Vineyard in the Southern Adelaide Hills is mighty close to Kangarilla in the eastern part of the McLaren Vale. The combination of this relatively cool climate vineyard, the warm 2018 vintage, and a very low crop has resulted in a wine of fabulous intensity, length, and depth of flavour. There’s blackcurrant, mint, violet, and plenty of whisper fine tannins. An exceptional wine.

Pork and Black Pudding Burger

This might seem like a strange one, but I can honestly say that this combo really works. Usually, when you think of burgers you lean towards a beer, or even a nice glass of red. The freshness of the apple, spice coming through from the tomato jam, and the addition of pork had me leaning towards a Riesling.
