Aged to Perfection

A quartet of quality reds all ready to have their lids ripped! Tannins are softening, fruits emerging and gorgeous right now. Hang on to these for a few more years and you’ll start to see development of secondary characters. For now though, the fruit is to the fore and the wine's oh so tasty.

    Aged to Perfection
    Wines In This Pack
    McLaren Vale, SA
    4 x Gold Medals, 94pts James Halliday
Shiraz blended with Riesling is an old and relatively uncommon Aussie tradition. The erstwhile Zar and Elena Brooks borrowed this idea and made it new again with this delicious juicy wine packed with chocolate, red fruits, plums and rhubarb. Finishes dry with lovely soft tannins. Drinking beautifully.
    South Australia
    91pts Kim Brebach
Big and bold and black-strappy Shiraz fashioned to enjoy now or over the next few years. It’s black with plenty of sweet fruit and fluffy furry tannins to finish. Pair it up with some braised lamb or roast beef.

Sorry, this product is not available individually, only in the pack below.

Winemaker Paul Dixon believes 2017 was one of the very best vintages he’s seen and the proof is in your glass… this wine is of a quality and depth of flavour you won’t normally find at $25. It is a complex wine offering dark fruits, dark chocolate, tomato leaf, plums, white pepper and violets. This really is a beautiful wine, delicious now and with a minimum of 5 years cellaring potential.
    3 x Allinda Goulburn Shiraz 2016 (RRP $30.00)
    Goulburn Valley, NSW
An aromatic, silky, spicy, and soft Shiraz offering a lovely combo of red and blue fruits. It’s perfect drinking right now and should be good through to 2026, maybe longer. Relaxed enough to work with a burger or pizza, classy enough to pair with fancier stuff too.

Four excellent reds arguably at the peak of their powers.
