Wines In This Pack
Barossa Valley, SA
95pts Sam Kim, 95pts Kim Brebach, 94pts Wine Pilot
An intense blend from the wineries best fruit from a west facing hillside block in the prized Barossa sub region of Marananga. A mix of mostly old and some new French and American oak is used here, allowing the oak to appear as a character rather than the plot. Black, more black and blue fruits, blackberries, coffee, graphite, chocolate, minerals, liquorice, spice, blueberries, cedar and firm tannins.
McLaren Vale, SA
96pts Sam Kim
A black, plush, and full-bodied Shiraz made from 80-year-old vines. Exceptional fruit intensity here, and weight of black fruits on the palate. Opulence is balanced by judicious acidity and there’re plenty of tannins driving through to an epic conclusion. Decant if you are going to enjoy now, otherwise cellar!
Frankland River, WA
95pts and Gold Medal - 2021 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, Gold Medal
This is a single vineyard wine, with all fruit sourced from Ferngrove’s Block 11. Red fruits and plums, milk chocolate and black pepper are at the forefront here and the wine has supreme balance, good length and plenty of ripe tannins. It’s lovely already but should cellar exceptionally well too.
Frankland River, WA
97pts, Gold Medal and Top Gold Medal - 2021 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, The Doreau Australia Trophy for Best Shiraz 2019 Vintage and Younger
An aromatic wellspring of blackberries, chocolate and pepper invites you to dive into a medium bodied palate replete with black fruits, black pepper, spice and chocolate. Deceptively easy to drink already, this wine will also cellar well for up to a decade.
