Tim Adams produces consistently superb rieslings and this is no different. Very lifted riesling character with citrus aromatics of lime and lemon, zesty and wonderfully dry. Drink it up front as an aperitif, or grill up some barramundi.

2010 1882 Riesling

1882 Clare Riesling is fantastic value boasting a mixture of florals, limes and minerality – the palate is softer than many of its peers making it a great drink now… screwcap.

2010 Dandelion Riesling

This intense offering features citrus and bath powder aromatics (swoon) and a pebbly mineral/citrus pallet. Enjoy as an aperitif or with seafood. The vineyard is 100 years old and the wine will cellar for 10 but that would require more discipline than we have.

2009 Jacobs Creek Classic Riesling

Lifted, fresh drink-now quaffer with intense lime and lemon sting. Bit of clean slate minerality keeps it honest. Chili prawns? A great idea!

2009 Jeanneret Big Fine Girl Riesling

Crushed lime and lemon on the nose that translates to layers of flavour on the palate with bracing acidity and length to boot. A Clare classic and one to cellar 10 years and beyond.

2010 Leconfield Old Vine Riesling

This vintage is dry and limey, with good fruit clarity and excellent intensity. Citrus zest, lime and blossom are all on offer in this ageworthy wine. Mark reckons chilli mussels with this one.
