$150.00 We all love the Doors covering the Big Joe Williams classic ‘Baby Please Don’t Go’ but perhaps Elmer Fudd covering Light my Fire is a step too far? Either way the tasting panel's fire was lit by all of the wines in this pack. The Schild Chardy which punches well above its weight, Grant Burge’s lime laden Rizza, Mountadam’s gloriously evergreen Eden Chardonnay and Pertaringa’s beguiling Semillon - a bit like Elmer, the Sem is certainly not considered fashionable and unlike our fave celluloid bacon precursor, it should be an icon - it is that tasty… | $150.00 ‘Break on Through’ which launched the Door's rise to fame was also the last track they played live, so maybe it’s fitting that we have bookended this pack with 2 equally excellent reds - Paxton's Quandong Shiaz and the Schoenthal Reserve Cabernet. The analogy falls flat in that the other 6 wines that make up this 8-pack are rippers too. Sorry. | $120.00 A Doors B side but very well regarded. So while whites take a backseat to reds over the colder months we know plenty of you still want to talk about and consume them. So here’s 6 of our favourite whites at the mo, including a Riesling which is in the running for Winestate’s wine of the year (Leconfield), the tasting panel's favourite Riesling of the last 12 motnhs (Patrick), favourite Chardonnay (Mountadam) and most underrated white (Pertaringa). Love. | $150.00 We are big fans of the Adelaide Hills and it’s wines, so here’s a handful of the good stuff from some of our fave producers. These drink well right now and make for a great start to a night where the food and company are of a standard which is pleasing to you. | $240.00 A great mix of whites and fantastic value with names like Bird in Hand, Hardys, Schild Estate, Hamilton, Tim Adams and De Bortoli…
| $250.00 More highlights from the tasting panel with Trophy winning Riesling from Patrick, Three Bucket's succulent Chardonnay and Paracombe’s structured and peary Pinot Gris, to name a few. All wines received the tasting panels drool of approval. |
